시차 : 8시간

​아침 일찍 집에서 캐리어를 끌고, 공항철도를 타고 인천공항으로 갔어요.
인천공항은 여전히 반갑고, 설레는 기분을 갖게 만드는 장소예요.
여행사 가이드 미팅이 11시 30분까지 였지만, 조금 일찍 도착해서 인천공항을 구경했어요.
인천공항을 가면 매번 같은 코스이지만, 재밌고, 기분이 좋네요.

 

미팅 10분전에 가이드를 만나서 여행일정과 준비물을 받고, 아시아나 카운터에서 수화물로 캐리어를 맡기고 출국장으로 갔어요.
출국장에는 사람이 많아서 약간 대기를 했고, 출국심사를 간단히 마치고 면세점에서 쇼핑을 했어요.
소소한 쇼핑을 끝내고, 게이트로 이동했어요.
게이트에 도착했을 때 비행기가 준비되어 있었고, 비행기를 타고 영국으로 갔어요.
여행은 함께 가는 사람이 정말로 중요하다는 것을 느꼈어요. 

함께 가는 사람이 좋으면 여행의 절반이 성공!!

런던 히드로국제공항에 도착해서 입국장에서 대기를 하는데, 입국심사하는 사람들이 상당히 까칠하게 심사를 하고 있었어요.

저희 여행 일행은 가이드를 중심으로 줄을 서서 기다렸어요.
인원수가 많다고 호락호락 보내주지 않았어요.
궁금한 건 물어보고, 웃음을 보이기도 하며 대체적으로 질문을 많이 하는것 같아요.

반달곰 지구여행 여권을 한참 보더니 입국심사 직원이 "여행을 많이 다녔네요? 어디가 제일 좋았나요?" 라고 물어봤어요.
그리고 반달곰지구여행은 "네, 미국 마이애미와 요세미티국립공원이 제일 좋았습니다." 라고 대답했어요.

입국심사 직원은 "와우~, 부럽네요~ , 영국에서도 즐거운 여행 되세요" 라고 말해줬어요.
반달곰지구여행은 "고맙습니다. 좋은 하루 되세요" 라고 인사를 했어요.

 

입국심사는 항상 긴장이 됩니다.
하지만 웃으며 긍정적으로 대답을 간략하게 하면서 긴장도 풀리고 좋은 추억도 만들 수 있어요.
이제는 그때의 경험이 재밌는 추억으로 남아 있어요. ^^

유럽 여행을 마치고 프랑크푸르트에서 출국심사를 받을 때는...
출국심사를 담당하는 여직원이 제 여권을 한참을 보고, 또 보고, 얼마나 꼬치꼬치 질문을 하던지요 ㅠ.ㅠ.
대한민국으로 돌아가겠다고 출국심사를 받는데도 왜? 왜? 저를 긴장하게 만드는 건지요.

사진도 한참 보고, 생년월일도 한참을 보고, "진짜 생일이 맞느냐? 나이가 이게 맞느냐?" 라고 물어봤어요.
나이에 비해 어리보였는지... 그녀는 저에게 참 궁금한 게 많았나 봅니다.

하지만 그녀의 질문에는 알아듣는 것은 대답을 하고, 못 알아들은 것은 그냥 패스~ 

이젠 이것도 재밌는 추억이 되었어요.

잠시 다른 이야기를 했었죠. 다시 영국 여행 이야기로 돌아와 볼까요?
런던 히드로 국제공항에 도착해서 일행들과 함께 관광버스에 탑승했어요.

해가 저물어가는 시각이었는데, 런던 시내로 천천히 들어가는 버스 안에서 블랙캡, 빨간색 전화박스, 빨간색 2층 버스, 진한 갈색 지붕의 집들, 뽀족뽑족한 탑이 있는 건물들을 보니 영국에 온 것이 실감났어요.

 

이제 닥터 후를 만날 수 있는 걸까요? ㅎㅎ

오늘 일정은 영국 도착 후 St Giles London Hotel로 이동했어요! 호텔은 보통 수준이었지만...

화장실 수압이 낮아서 좀 불편했어요.

 

객실 뷰는 시티뷰라서 늦은 밤에는 볼게 없었지만, 잠시 근처 마켓에 들려 생수와 맥주 2병, 약간의 과자를 구입해서 즐거운 저녁시간을 보냈답니다.

I packed my bags from home early in the morning and went to Incheon Airport by airport railroad.
Incheon Airport is still a place that makes you happy and excited.
The travel agency guide meeting was until 11:30 p.m., but I arrived a little early and looked around Incheon International Airport.
It's the same course every time I go to Incheon Airport, but it's fun and I feel good.

I met the guide 10 minutes before the meeting, received the itinerary and supplies, left my luggage at the Asiana counter, and went to the departure hall.
I waited a little bit because there were a lot of people at the departure hall, and I shopped at the duty-free shop after finishing the departure screening for a while.
After a small shopping session, I moved to the gate.
When I arrived at the gate, the plane was ready, and I flew to England.
I felt that traveling with someone was really important.

Half the trip is a success if you like someone who goes with you!!

 

I arrived at London Heathrow International Airport and was waiting at the arrival hall, and the immigration officers were screening quite harshly.

Our tour group waited in line around the guide.
I didn't send it to you easily because there were a lot of people.
I think they ask questions, laugh, and ask a lot of questions in general.

After looking at the passport for a while, the immigration officer asked, "You traveled a lot. Where did you like the most?"
And bandalgomTV answered, "Yes, I liked Miami and Yosemite National Park the best."
The immigration officer said, "Wow, I envy you, have a nice trip in the UK."
 Bandalgom TV said, "Thank you. Have a nice day."

I'm always nervous about immigration.
But you can smile and briefly answer positively, so you can relax and make good memories.
Now, that experience remains a fun memory.

When I was going through immigration in Frankfurt after my trip to Europe...
The female staff in charge of immigration looked at my passport for a long time, looked at it again, and asked me a lot of questions ㅠ.ㅠ.
Why? Why? Why? Is it making me nervous?
I looked at the picture for a long time, looked at the date of birth for a long time, and asked, "Is it really your birthday? Is this your age?"
Did she look young for her age? She must have had a lot of questions for me.
But answer her questions if you understand them, and pass if you don't understand them 

Now this became a fun memory, too.

 

We talked about something else for a while. Let's get back to travelling to England?
I arrived at London Heathrow International Airport and boarded a tour bus with my companions.
As the sun was setting, I realized that I was in England when I saw black caps, red phone boxes, red double-decker buses, dark brown-roofed houses and buildings with plump towers on the bus slowly into downtown London.

Can I see Doctor Who now? :)

Today's schedule was moved to the St Giles London Hotel after arriving in the UK! The hotel was normal, but...
It was a little uncomfortable because the water pressure in the bathroom was low.

The room view was a city view, so there was nothing to see late at night, but I stopped by a nearby market for a while to buy bottled water, two bottles of beer, and some snacks and had a great evening.
